 Teaching Experience For the past thirteen years, I have taught in the public and private sectors of the US music education market as well as been a private English tutor for ESL students. In music, I have been a sought after teacher of private lessons and group classes as well as invited several times to judge music festivals. As a TEFL certified English tutor, I have worked with students of different linguistic backgrounds and have worked with kids from ages 5 to 18 as well as adults.

Over the past year, I have taken an intermediate Korean language class in Seoul to better familiarize myself with the language and culture, and used that learning in the business trips that I often take to South Korea. With that knowledge, I am also better able to understand the viewpoint of native Korean speakers learning English, and I am better able to help them to learn the English language because of that insight.

Unfortunately, I have hurt my wrists and have a limited capability to play cello. So I am following my passion for teaching and I am looking to secure a position as an English teacher where I can share my love and knowledge for the English language with my students. Teaching is a skill and an art that allows for imparting knowledge that will stay with my students for the rest of their lives.
