Teaching Experience I have taught children to adult at my uncle's Korean church. During university, I was in charge of tutoring four Korean transfer students, who needed help with writing essays as well as helping them with their speaking and listening skills.
Explain About Your Personality I'm very out going, nurturing, and easy going. I like to meet new people and since I am half Korean, I have a understanding and respect of the culture. I speak Korean, although now fluent, so I can be a huge asset to students who need the comfort of being able to express themselves in Korean so that I can help them interpret in English.

To Whom It May Concern,

My husband and I are very interested in teaching in Korea because we both have volunteered as teachers/tutors during university.

To give you a little background about me and my husband, we have been married for nine years and currently live and work in New York City. We both have our undergraduate degrees - I graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Leadership & Management with a concentration in Marketing, Advertising & PR (graduated magna cum laude with 3.8 GPA), and my husband has a B.S. in Economics from Fordham University.

On a personal note, I am half Korean (mother is Korean) and half American. I grew up in South Korea until I was seven years old and speak Korean, albeit it's not fluent.

While we both have not formerly taught English, I have taught countless Korean students (university, high school, and elementary) while I was at university as well as at my church (Korean church). My husband tutored elementary to high school children on script writing as well as tutoring English to Latin American and European college students during university.

I also would like to add that I am eligible for an F-4 Visa, which I am in the process of applying. We both have our degrees apostilled and waiting for the FBI criminal background check, which we know there are no issues.

If you have any questions or concerns, we can be reached via email as well as by phone: mobile 1-917-881-2.

We look forward to working with you.

Kind regards,

Claudine
