Teaching Experience I would like to think my passion for teaching started at an early age when I would tutor my 5 younger siblings and help them with their homework. My first experience in classroom teaching was in Nairobi, Kenya. There I was blessed with the opportunity to volunteer at a primary for 2 different summers. I was a classroom assistant and helped the teachers with their students, primarily in Maths and English. I knew then I wanted to be a teacher if not in Maths than in English.
I had then gone onto do a 4-week Psychology placement in Bali in July of 2016. My role was to work with patients of a mental health hospital and taught English to children and adults who had various learning and physical disabilities. I enjoy being able to expand peoples knowledge just as much as I love to learn to learn from others too.
Explain About Your Personality I am very passionate, bubbly and that I am proudly open-minded. I am a quick learner and can easily adapt to different environments. I enjoy playing sports

My passion for teaching started at an early age when I would tutor my 5 younger siblings. I had then spent 2 summers in Kenya teaching at a Primary School. With such burning desire to teach, I decided to go to Bali for 4 weeks for Psychology placement, in which I worked at a mental health hospital and taught English to children and adults who ranged from disabled and/or had learning difficulties to very able. I enjoy expanding people’s knowledge as much as I love to learn from others too.

Alongside my burning passion for teaching, I am very enthusiastic and creative in my way of teaching. I am an active teacher so I like to have students moving as much as possible or engaging through activities. However, that does not limit me. I am a quick learner so I adapt easily to different environments. My goal in teaching English is to not only do the obvious which is teach English but to also give children the confidence to be able to speak and not only write in English. I have great time management skills, which is a key asset to have when teaching. My enthusiasm and willingness will be what will help me be a great member of your team.
I am a native British speaker and I have just recently graduated with BSc in Psychology. I have my official diploma + transcript and CRB (DBS) check all notarized and apostilled, ready and in hand. Also, I am currently taking a TEFL 120 hour course, in which I have already done the 20 hours of compulsory in a class study done. I am in Seoul currently and I am very open to starting at any time possible. I would preferably like to teach within Seoul, if possible. I have attached my CV and a very recent photo of myself. The best time to contact me would be afternoons (GMT). I currently do not hold any working visa for Korea.
